Project MALES is pleased to announce that Mike Gutierrez, M.Ed, has joined the team as the new Program Coordinator for Project MALES. As program coordinator Mike will coordinate the daily operations of the mentoring program activities ensuring program needs are met, including serving as key liaison to all school partners and as the direct supervisor for our Project MALES graduate assistants.
Mike’s most recent role as an academic advisor with TIP in the College of Natural Sciences at the University of Texas at Austin and his previous experience as a graduate assistant for Project MALES from 2013-2015 will allow him to bring valuable experience to this new role.
Mike completed his Master’s in Education in the College & University Student Personnel Administration (CUSPA) program in Spring 2015 and a Bachelor’s in Psychology in 2013 from the University of Texas at Austin.
