On Thursday, October 19, 2017 the Texas Education Consortium for Male Students of Color (TECMSC) will convene at the Tarrant County College-Trinity River Campus. Educational leaders from ISD’s, community colleges, and universities from across the state of Texas, will attend the one day institute. Activities will include, updates from the Advisory Council, a student/local partners panel, and breakout sessions by region and institution type, among others. We are looking forward to a successful institute, thank you to our partners at TCC for hosting us. In addition, Tarrant County College, in collaboration with the University of North Texas, and in partnership with the Texas Education Consortium for Male Students of Color, are excited to host the inaugural North Texas Male Student Leadership Summit on Friday, October 20, 2017, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. This leadership experience is FREE and open to all high school and college students, and will include speakers, activities and networking centered around the themes of Brotherhood, Leadership, College & Career Readiness, and Health & Wellness. The registration form below should be completed for each person attending the event by Friday, October 13.
