Mr. Venancio V. Saldaña is from Taft, Texas. Mr. Saldaña is the youngest of thirteen children. Both his parents were from Mexico. His native language is Spanish. Mr. Saldaña graduated from Taft High School in Taft, Texas in 1980. He moved to Austin in 1985 to pursue a Bachelors Degree in Education from the University of Texas at Austin. Mr. Saldaña graduated in 1989 from the University of Texas and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Education. He began his career as an educator in 1990 as a permanent substitute. In 1998 Mr. Saldaña decided to return to college to pursue a Masters Degree in Educational Administration. He attended Tarleton State University in Stephenville and graduated in 2000 with a Masters Degree in Educational Administration. Mr. Saldaña is currently pursuing a doctoral degree at Texas State University.
