On Friday, April 26, 2019, Project MALES hosted our annual College For A Day field trip for many of the male students of color we mentor at AISD and Del Valle ISD schools. Project MALES staff and mentors welcomed students and school staff at Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium, then they followed up with a tour of the UT Austin campus led by our mentors. Activities for the day included a mock college class, lunch at the UT Business School, and culminated with a visit to the Bullock Texas State History Museum. Thank you to all AISD and DVISD staff who helped with coordination of the event.
