The Texas Education Consortium for Male Students of Color is excited to announce the next Spring 2020 Consortium Institute on Thursday, February 27. We are grateful for our Austin Community College District partners, particularly Dr. Guillermo Martinez, Interim Vice President of Student Affairs, and their willingness to host us. The Institute will take place at the Eastview Campus.
After a very successful Fall 2019 Consortium Institute at the University of Houston – Downtown (UHD), we are excited to bring the next Institute to Central Texas and engage current and new partners in the area across educational sectors.
The 2020 Spring Consortium Institute will introduce new professional development workshops tailored to the needs of administrators and practitioners who are committed to advancing the educational outcomes of male students of color statewide. The Institute will also leverage the knowledge and expertise of local school administrators and faculty.
