On Monday November 25th, Project MALES will host its 3rd Plática of the Fall 2019 semester, with featured guest speaker Christopher Rios.
Christopher Rios is a proud graduate of the Red McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin. He is an experienced banking and risk management professional with a long track record of community and non-profit board volunteerism. He currently serves as Community Development Officer for Texas Capital Bank, Where he oversees community development initiatives in the greater Austin community.
Christopher was selected by community peers as the winner of the 2019 Austin Under 40 award for Civics, Government and Public Affairs. He also received the 2015 Distinguished Young Leader award by the Young Hispanic Professional Association of Austin. He is a member of the National Association of Public Health Centers, and INDIEpendent ambassador of the Austin Film Society, and graduate of the A.I.S.D. Upclose education advocacy program. Christopher is a strong advocate for local economic and workforce development, leadership development, public health services, education, and the arts.
