We invite you to join our next Consortium Webinar as a direct response to the violent deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Tony McDade and many others at the hands of the police. This webinar will discuss the collective response of the Black Lives Matter (BLM) protest movement and communities of color, and will provide specific action steps needed to address these issues in your schools and college campuses. Joining us on the panel are Dr. Vida Robertson, Associate Professor and Director of the Center for Critical Race Studies from the University of Houston-Downtown, Dr. Richard Reddick, Professor and Associate Dean for Equity, Community Engagement, and Outreach from The University of Texas at Austin, and Dr. Stephanie Hawley, Chief Equity Officer from the Austin Independent School District. Dr. Emmet Campos, Director of Project MALES, will be facilitating the discussion.
