The Heman Sweatt Center for Black Males (Sweatt Center), under the Longhorn Campaign for Men of Color (LCMC), sponsors the annual Collegiate Black Male Retreat (CBMR). A three-day retreat aiming to connect college Black males from across the country in an effort to facilitate personal, professional, and academic growth. The retreat uses small group forums, cross-campus dialogue, team building activities, and networking with Black male professionals to enhance the experience of retreat participants, ensure their voices and needs are amplified and expand their support systems moving forward. We are looking for all Black college males, from Freshmen to Senior leaders, and even graduate/professional school students. This is a national forum focused on enhancing the college and post-graduation experience of college Black males. Come out for a time of fellowship, empowerment, and rejuvenation as we work through the Spring semester and into the summer. You are not on this journey alone!
