Lisa Marie Resendez is a senior Corporate Communications and Mexican American/Latino studies double major at the University of Texas at Austin. She is originally from San Antonio, TX and currently works as a Texas Student Recruiter for the University of Texas at Austin Office of Admissions. She is heavily involved on campus as she serves as the co-service chair for the Moody College Honors Society, serves as a mentor for the Moody College Mentor Program, and is a new Global Student Fellow under the Division of Diversity and Community Engagement. She has participated in DDCE’s Cape Town, South Africa Maymester and strives to encourage other underrepresented students to get out of their comfort zone and study abroad.
